Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
Sensitive
Skin: Use our
Delicate System for sensitive skin, followed by the moisturizing lotion once a day. Use small amounts
and apply when skin is damp.
Skin Rash: Many rashes come from a change in the pH of your skin when introduced
to a product with a different pH. You may have a low or high skin
pH that reacts to the pH in skincare products. Over time, skin
adjusts to the new pH and the rash usually goes away. Use the system
for delicate skin, followed by moisturizing lotion,
once a day.
Dry Skin: Use
lukewarm water with the Moisturizer Rich System for dry skin. Finish
with a small amount of the oat-based moisturizing lotion.
Use the moisture rich masque once a week. Consider using a
humidifier at home and lower your heat during the winter. Increase
your intake of purified water.
Oily
Skin: Wash
your face using the Clarifying System for oily skin twice daily. Before applying the moisturizer, use a very small
amount of the blemish & acne gel on acne areas
only.
Note: With the use of the
Skin Analyzer Machine,
even though one may be prone to acne, we can detect
that you may also have dry skin underneath all the oily surface
that you see with your naked eye. This means you
may be using the wrong set of products and therefore not see
results using your own product.
Blackheads: Our clay masque and polishing scrub with jojoba beads help
dissolve and break away blackheads. The polishing scrub
with jojoba beads helps break open the blackheads. The
clay masque draws out and removes the bacteria. Whiteheads: Use clay
masque to begin to eliminate whiteheads as it sloughs off
layers of skin. Blemish & acne gel will help
clear up any infection and stop it from becoming acne. Acne
Scars: The
outside edges of the scar may be softened after continual use of
the moisturizing lotion. However, the scar cannot
be completely eliminated without laser surgery or
collagen fat implants. To eliminate any uneven skin tone, use the skin
brighter 2x a day for 12 weeks. Acne: Wash
with a mild cleanser like the cleanser for oily skin followed
by a small amounts of moisturizing lotion to
moisturize. Use blemish & acne gel directly on
breakout areas. Use the clay masque sparingly or not
at all. Do not use any polishing scrubs on acne-prone skin. This will spread the bacteria to other areas of the face. Combination
Skin - Oily & Dry Areas: After
washing with the cleanser for oily skin, use the toner
for oily skin to remove any excess makeup. Apply the oat-based
moisturizing lotion all over your face. Use the moisturizer
for dry skin on extremely dry areas and moisturizer
for oily skin on the oily areas. Skin
Discoloration (sun spots, pregnancy masks, etc): Groupings
of melanin (pigment) can be slowly broken up with our skin
brighter and moisturizing lotion. You should
see improvement in 8-12 weeks of use 3 times daily. Mature Skin: Our daytime and nightime lotions/creams help protect your
skin in the day and repair your skin while you sleep. With our vitamin C with wild yam you can minimize and delay
your wrinkles with everyday use. Eczema
and Psoriasis: With
a skin condition such as Psoriasis, we suggest you get a
recommendation from a Dermatologist. We also suggest reducing your
stress level by exercise, meditation, biofeedback, or any other
stress reduction methods. Cut down on your intake of sugar. Ask your doctor if you can take Vitamin C and Vitamin A with Zinc.
Why
Exercise? Exercise can increase the blood flow through your veins into
your capillaries, delivering more nutrients and oxygen into the
skin. Increased blood flow through the veins helps remove toxins
from your body, including your skin. Exercise helps the immune
system fight disease.
Why
Drink Water? Eight, eight-ounce glasses of purified non-chlorinated water a
day provides moisture required for your organs to remain supple
and soft. Water helps your liver remove toxins, which keeps your
skin clear. Dehydration can make your skin appear patchy and
yellow.
Why
A Balanced Diet? Everything you take into your body directly affects your skin.
The more fresh fruits and vegetables you consume, the healthier
your body will be and the better your skin will look. Fresh fruits
and vegetables contain simple flavenoids, and vitamins C, D, E,
& A, which help your skin and your internal organs in fighting
disease. Ask our consultant about multivitamins and
supplements that is right for you.
